Live scores and team leaderboards during the round
Enter gross scores on the course and let your whole golf group follow the live table and team scorecards. When connected, the live views automatically refresh about every five seconds, without waiting for paper cards to come in.
Digital golf scorecards with automatic calculations
Enter each player’s gross strokes and view the hole-by-hole card. For Stableford formats, Golf Live works out the points using the relevant handicap and course information. Counting team scores are identified so players can see which results contribute to their team.
A golf scorekeeping app for real group formats
Play individual rounds, Team Stableford, supported uneven-team formats, Scramble, 1 vs 1 singles Match Play or 2 vs 2 better-ball Match Play. Set up multiple teams and start groups from different holes for shotgun starts. Scorecards and live totals follow the selected format.
A single group sign-in, not separate accounts for 36 golfers
The group organiser sets up the group and saves regular players. Members join using the group name and PIN; scorers are nominated for the round and others use watch-only access. A separate admin PIN protects group management.
Golf scoring app on iPhone and Android — no app store required
Golf Live is an installable web app (PWA), not an App Store or Google Play download. Create a free group, follow the in-app Home Screen installation instructions on your supported phone, then open Golf Live like an app on the course. Scorers enter scores; everyone else can follow.
Birdie and eagle push alerts for the group
With notifications enabled on a supported installed device, Golf Live can announce confirmed gross birdies and eagles, plus round start, halfway and finish. Friends watching from home or the clubhouse can keep up without asking a player for updates.
Results remain useful after the final hole
Completed rounds, team results, individual performances and scorecards are stored with the group. Members can also open Stats > Player Stats and select a golfer to review their scoring totals, averages, streaks and single-round bests, without using the Developer area.
Golf scorer versus GPS yardage tracking
Golf Live is designed for recording shots, running team games, calculating points and sharing a live golf leaderboard. It does not claim to replace a dedicated GPS yardage, shot-tracking or official handicap-submission app.

Yes. Scorers enter gross scores and Golf Live calculates points using the course and handicap information.
Is Golf Live a live golf scoring app?
Yes. Nominated scorers record gross shots and everyone in the group can follow live team totals, hole-by-hole scorecards and the leaderboard.
Do I need to download Golf Live from an app store?
No. Golf Live is an installable web app (PWA) that you can add to the Home Screen of a supported iPhone or Android phone. There is no App Store download.
Can I receive birdie alerts on my phone?
Yes. On supported installed devices, enable notifications to receive confirmed birdies and eagles plus round updates.
Does everybody need to score on their own phone?
No. Nominated scorers enter scores; other group members can watch without editing them.
Can I use the app for a golf society or swindle?
Yes. It includes team formats, saved players, live tables, group history and support for uneven team numbers.
Can two golfers play Match Play?
Yes. Select Match Play - 1 vs 1 to score a singles match. There is also Match Play - 2 vs 2 for better-ball pairs.
